Faith Building
Tom Bishop Prayer Books- A wealth of differently themed devotion books can be found here.  Our family loves the "Character Prayers" book.  And the best part is that while you can also print a pre-printed copy, all books are available to download and print free!

Language Arts
AVKO Educational Research Foundation- The resources found here were developed by a dyslexic, but are useful for any student.  They include resources and curriculum for help with spelling, reading, typing, and writing.

Starfall - This is a free four-stage phonics website with printables to reinforce your child's learning every step of the way.  (They also offer a Kindergarten curriculum package for sale, however be forewarned that a reader about the life of Charles Darwin is included in this package.)

Literactive- Here you will find phonics practice, online books, worksheets, interactive online games, and more, all designed to help you read and spell.

Read Write Think- Why settle for a boring old book report, when you can come to this site and generate an action trading card about your favorite character in the book?  Generate your own crossword puzzles, postcards, newspapers, and other fun language art based projects here.

Spelling City- This site allows you to utilize others' spelling lists or create your own.  For those of you using AVKO materials they also have their own spelling lists here.  After picking or creating your list you can use it to allow your students to practice their spelling or play spelling games with those same words.

Social Studies
God's World News - They offer subscriptions to the color photo rich magazines that bring excitement to your child's study of current events.  As a bonus, subscriptions to their magazines include extra online features such as biography studies, additional current news stories, monthly relevant lesson plans, among other things.

Journey North-  It is a study of seasonal change and migration through printable books, videos, slide shows, and activities.  Help the scientists learn more about migratory animals, as you learn from what the scientists have already found.

Cross Curricular Resources
Free Lapbooks @ Homeschool Share- Lapbooks are a great way to study a particular subject in a fun and engaging way that covers a variety of curricular interests.

In The Hands of a Child- This site has a lapbook package for virtually any subject of interest that you can think of!

Learning Page- This site features professional worksheets useful for learning many basic concepts such as handwriting, telling time, and counting change.  They feature exciting themed wall murals, complete with like themed science, language art, and math worksheets for Pre-K through 3rd grade. You will also find monthly themed sheets here as well highlighting events in history.

FamilyEducation.com Printables- Search a varied database of printables by age, holiday, or subject.

Thinkfinity- This is a search engine for printables from many different sources that can be searched by age, holiday, or subject.

Educational and Fun
Binding Books Beautifully- A tool to bind your own books . . . beautifully ;)  It's easy to use, and affordable.

Author Jan Brett's Website -  This site offers many printables ranging from flashcards to wall murals.  This is useful for home schools as well as classrooms.

Pizza Hut's Book It Program- Even homeschoolers can join the fun in working their way to earning a free personal pizza by reading their favorite books!

Homeschool Buyer's Co-op- This site is full of extraordinary deals that have been organized with the curriculum companies in exchange for a bulk order from the homeschool community.  These savings aren't just for school systems anymore ;)

Christianbook's Homeschool Page- This is an awesome place for deals on curriculum and supplemental resources.

Steve Spangler Science- A great retail site for everything science.  There are also science videos with Steve that you can watch here.

Edify At Home- The Homeschooling community's answer to the auction site, curriculum style.

SnapGrades- While they have other grading options with extra features available, this is where I found the free online grade book that I use.
